The life of Portuguese writer Alexandre O’Neill portrayed in a chaotic and dreamlike musical atmosphere. An unexpected story that grasps a part of the unattainable life the poet left to the world.

DIRECTOR

João Botelho is one of the most prolific Portuguese directors to date. His films have participated in the most renowned international film festivals and he has received many accolades, such as the OCIC Promotional Award, Forum of New Cinema in 1986 in Berlin and ‘Premio Fondazione Mimmo Rotella’ in 2001 in Venice. Retrospectives of his work have been organized in Bergamo (1996), in La Rochelle, which also dedicated a monographic publication to him (1998), at the Cinémathèque in Luxemburg, and at the LEFEEST (2018) in Lisbon.

Farnoosh Abedi was born in 1985 in Isfahan (Iran).
Graduated in theater from Art & Architecture University Has been Making animation since 2000;
he has made more than 20 short animated films, TV series, documentaries and several commercial TV.
His films was presented and screened in more than 100 domestic and international film festivals.

Born in Toronto in 1959, Mike Hoolboomhe is a prolific and versatile experimental filmmaker, emerged during the mid-1980. In parallel with his cinematographic production, he is also a critic and a curator and he is considered one of the greatest Canadian experimental filmmakers along with Michael Snow.
Fascinated with dismantling the mechanics of meanings,
he shot much of his early work using his father’s Super 8 camera. His works investigates how physicality determines perception and also how an image-saturated mass culture determines problems of perception.

After five years studying in Paris, Arash has not adjusted to life there and has decided to return to Iran to live. Jolted by the news, his two friends Hossein and Nima, who do not want him to leave, convince him to take a last trip through France – secretly hoping he will change his mind.

in over 30 festivals internationally. It won the Emerging Swiss Talent Award at ZFF, the Fiction/Non- Fiction Prize at Docs Against Gravity and was given a special mention at the BFI London Film Festival. It was nominated at the Trophées Francophones du Cinéma 2018 and for the Swiss Film Award 2018 as well as for the International Press Prize in the Best French Language Film category.

Gioia, who has just turned eighteen, lives with her father in a village in central Italy. Here she takes care of the whole community by bringing them thermal water for its well- known therapeutic properties.

for her father will take her to leave her village of origin and turn her life upside down.

DIRECTOR

Dario Albertinistarted his career in documentaries and he personally took care of all the aspects of the production: sound, music, and photography. Slot – Le intermittenti luci di Franco, his first documentary, was awarded many prizes (D.E.R Visioni Doc, ‘Adriano Asti’ Best Documentary, Cinemadocumentario, ‘Marcellino De Baggis’, and reached the finals for the ‘Doc/it Professional Award’).
La Repubblica dei Ragazzi won the ‘400 colpi Vittorio Veneto Film Festival’ and the ‘Cinema Fedic’ prize. Manuel (2018) is his first fiction film and was presented at Venice Film Festival. Anima bella is the only Italian film in the section ‘Alice nella Città – Concorso Young Adult’ at the Rome Film Fest 2021.
