The call to participate in the selection of the 43rd edition of the Efebo d’Oro, International Film and Fiction Award – created to underline the intense exchange relationships between cinema and literature and which over the years has become a real festival is online. of cinema and writing -, scheduled in Palermo from 14 to 20 November 2021.
The deadline for submitting their works to the selection of the two competitive sections, the Gold Ephebe for the best feature film based on a literary work and the Prospective Ephebe, reserved for first or second works, is set at July 30, 2021. The announcement of the winners will take place on Saturday November 20, 2021.

Born in 1979 with the aim of enhancing works of different genres and origins, the Efebo d’Oro has always involved directors, writers, actors and workers in the film and literary industry. Today the Festival inspires different generations of audiences and professionals, turning their gaze towards the suggestions of a world in constant ferment and evolution in search of the most courageous expressions of contemporaneity.
